Ghorepani Poonhill Trek’ is undoubtedly the right choice for those who have limited time and choice of the moderate trek. Ghorepani at 2,864 m offers breathtaking scenery of Himalayan panoramas with few days trekking from the scenic Pokhara.
Poonhill is another highlight of this trek which offers panoramic views of sunrise over the high Himalayan chain of mountains with stunning views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,220m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Machapuchhere also known as Fish Tail Peak (6,993m), Nilgiri (7,061m) and more massive Himalaya towards further east.
The old Trans Himalayan Salt Trade route provides few strenuous days in with long stone steps at Ulleri village and tranquil forest of rhododendrons, maple, oaks, and pines trees with diverse culture, traditions, and religions with constant views of snow-capped mountains. This trek is a short Annapurna Circuit that combines moderate walking with majestic scenery and a mixture of cultures.
This trek allows you to explore wonderful villages of the famous Gurkhas soldiers of the Himalayan mid-hills and unique culture of mountain people of this region with the magnificent scenery of the Himalayan vistas.
