Sherpa Mountaineering founder Lakpa Sherpa is Nepal’s first IFMGA/UIAGM-certified Mountain Guide and one of the most respected mountaineering instructors in the Himalaya. With over 23 years of active guiding and teaching experience, he has played a key role in developing professional mountain guiding standards in Nepal. He is the founder and treasurer of the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA), Vice President of the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association, Vice President of the Nepal Climbing Sports Association, and a former board member of the Nepal Mountaineering Association. Lakpa Sherpa is also a diploma graduate of the prestigious ENSA Mountaineering School in Chamonix, France. He has summited Mt. Everest six times and successfully guided major expeditions on Cho Oyu, Manaslu, Mammut project 360-degree everest camara person & main role , Makalu, Ama Dablam, Mera Peak, Lobuche, Mt. Denali (Alaska), and peaks in China, France, and Iceland. He also completed the first ascent of Nepal–China Friendship Peak and Mt. Blanc training routes.
